About Missouri Construction

Built on three years of personal documentation — and a belief that Missouri's construction activity deserves to be transparent and accessible.

The Story Behind the Site

Over three years, I photographed the construction of Busch Stadium III — the home of the St. Louis Cardinals — through every season. Spring groundbreaking. Summer steel. Fall enclosure. Winter quiet. Thousands of images documenting how one of Missouri's most iconic buildings came to life.

Those photos were always meant to become a coffee-table book. But a website can do more — it can be searched, shared, and updated. It can connect to living data: active bids, new permits, projects under construction right now in Springfield, Kansas City, and every corner of the state.

What We Cover

  • Construction Projects — documented from groundbreaking to completion
  • Busch Stadium III Gallery — original photography across three years and four seasons
  • Bid Opportunities — active Missouri state, federal, and municipal construction bids
  • Permit Records — public building permit data from Missouri cities
  • Springfield Cardinals — the Double-A Cardinals affiliate and their community impact in southwest Missouri

The Connection to Springfield

The St. Louis Cardinals built Busch Stadium III. Their Double-A affiliate — the Springfield Cardinals — plays in Springfield, Missouri. The Fly Together Fund, administered through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, supports school field trips and community organizations throughout southwest Missouri. Baseball, construction, and community are more connected in Missouri than people realize.
